The Men For Christ organization collected jars of peanut butter that were shipped directly to missionaries in Haiti (www.mercysaves.org) to help with the post-earthquake relief effort there. Throughout the community, 5,000 jars of peanut butter were collected for this effort. Of those, 110 were collected from First Christian Church. Statistically, 500 jars of peanut butter feeds about 5,000 people, so a lot of Haitian people were directly helped through this effort. Thank you to all of you who contributed peanut butter to help our "neighbors" in Haiti.

The BYKOTA (Be Ye Kind One To Another) Thanksgiving Celebration was held on November 18th at White Mills Christian Camp. A collection was taken for the Mark & Cathy Wade Campership Fund, which provides scholarships for kids to attend camp during the summer at White Mills Christian Camp. This year, $2,040 was collected, which was a record amount collected. Praise God!
