Staff Elders Deacons Team Leaders Ministry Fields God is in control

The Bible says, "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you" (Hebrews 3:17).

We pray for our leaders and they pray for us.  The only way a church can effectively lead people closer to Jesus is if we ourselves are drawing closer to Jesus.

Leadership is a great responsibility, and it comes with a great reward: 1 Timothy 5:17 says that those who lead well are worthy of "double honor." And 1 Timothy 3:13 says that those who serve well "gain an excellent standing and great assurance in their faith in Christ Jesus."
