First Christian Church is currently in a transitional location at 401 W. Poplar Street in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. We are building new facility on North Miles Street in Elizabethtown.  Our church's mission is to lead people closer to Jesus Christ.  We accomplish this in many ways, but the most important method is Love.  Jesus Christ loved us enough to sacrifice His life and repair mankind's broken relationship with God; First Christian Church believes we should respond to this gift by loving Him, loving others, and serving the world... to connect people to Jesus. That is why we study the Bible: we believe the Bible teaches us about Jesus and equips us to become more like Him.  We try to be His representatives, not only within our church walls, but in Elizabethtown, in greater Kentucky, and throughout the world.  That is why we sponsor ministries that meet the needs of local people and why we sponsor a variety of global missions.
